Customer Experience Guidelines

The following definitions refer to how specific terms are used in the Customer Experience Guidelines. Broader definitions of these terms do exist, but for purposes of shared understanding, these are the definitions that are used in this context.

User

A user is someone who uses a piece of software to accomplish a task. In the context of Spartacus, a user is most likely a shopper, a sales representative filling orders, or a B2B buyer.

Customer

A customer is someone who purchases SAP cloud software to host an online retail store or multiple online retail stores.

Customer Service Representative

A customer service representative (CSR) is someone who is employed by the customer to resolve issues for users over the phone or through chat.

Storefront

A storefront is an online wholesale or retail store where goods can be purchased by the user from the customer.
